I'll give you a critique of the pictures in the order they appear here.
1 & 2 (catcher's gear)- nice detail, of the two I prefer the vertical, just seems to have a nice flow to it.
3 - nice picture of Team Owner Jack Dominico and a player chatting.
4 - Great job getting that ball just out of the hand! Good timing! To make it better, shoot from the other side next time to get the pitcher's face. Faces in sports photography really make the difference.
5 - And to prove the point about faces we have this picture! The face makes all the difference in this picture of the pitcher warming up. Really nice Chip!!!
I might even be tempted to crop in closer to his glove arm and about mid-thigh just give it a little more impact, but, that is me being nitpicky.
Once again, Nice picture!

6 - I would of cropped a little differently, Too bad that 400 wasn't working for you, it could have helped. I like the idea and you did a good job, this is one picture that could have been helped by a longer lens. In fact I like the look of the blurred pitcher and the pattern of the fence, I might look for that picture next time I go out.
7 - Nice timing.
8 - Nice moment that really brings a human aspect to game. Moments like these are hard to find on the big field.
9 - See the comments for #8.
10 - Good use of a different angle and looking for an alternative picture. To make this picture better, look through your shoot and see if you have a frame where all three pairs have a ball in the air.
11 - That dude is ripped!
Nice job Chip, especially since you did not get the chance to use the 400, you did a good job getting close and have a great variety of pictures from the baseball game.
I'd love to see a few of your racing pictures posted as well.

Thanks for the critique. I looked thru all the frames and I don't have any with more baseballs in the air. I'll post some of my racing pics tonite. Thanks again
